That's not what we're arguing.
ESPN likes to take a peek with their mobile camera at the end of the hand. They don't ask a player to show the cards mid-hand. That would be mental.
As I have already explained, they request a peek so they can then add in the hole card graphic for the highlight show.
It has also been shown on the ESPN coverage and in the Pokernews blogs in the past that players have made a fold but have then been told to show their cards to the ESPN camera - sometime referred to as double pain - losing the hand AND having to show cards to camera.

Now, back in your hole (or is it whole?)

If you don't want to show them get those cards mixed in the muck quickly imo. That might work.
Thanks for chiming in. I agree with you. These fellows I've been debating with think that ESPN can just willy nilly get your card info when they please.

Chad Eveslage would be a more entertaining final tableist that anyone else in that list

I'd sub out Devo for Aoki to make two women. Would probably sub out bowker for another non-american just to make it a bit more interesting.

So I am guessing everyone involved in this discussion agrees with my post and now we can put an end to it.

Before a hand, during a hand, 3 weeks after a hand. My point was they don't get to see your cards whenever they want just cuz they asked. You are agreeing with me now, good.

Sorry, hole.

An explanation would be good as I'm sure many have no idea who is he.

This would be a good table. Maybe replace two of them (but not Newhouse or Devo)
with a European and a South American and give it more international flair. I would get rid of Hastings.

Now that you've changed your mind about separate waivers etc, you've just changed your thoughts to match ours.
Well done.

Well yeah but there was an amazon orange table which contained like 5 well knownish pros. Ridiculous that wasn't the feature table.

This. If they ain't Pierce, Gerald Pique or Hellmuth/Ivey/Negs they aren't affecting the broadcast all that much.

Newhouse making the FT would be a great story that might interest the outsider. I doubt anything else would.

Devo makes the dream final table over a lot people because he'd bring personality to it.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

It always amazes me when someone can say something so wrong repeatedly and in the end think they're right when they finally come around and say the opposite.

From the start I was adamant about the RIO not being cool with showing cards whenever ESPN wanted. You guys said I was wrong about that. You quoted rules and argued that ESPN could see cards whenever they wanted. You were wrong.

It should be all women. Then the story will be "the year of the woman."

The kid just thought he was being a cleverdick referring to 'during' a hand. Hence why he made pains to say 'on any street'.
He's done now though. Bless him. Probably bed time.
