Anyone know what happened with Bruno Kawauti? (104 in 2012, 15 in 2013)

His name appears at the beggining of day 4, but now his name doesnt appear in the chip counts or players eliminated

Probably eliminated before the money and none of the reporters caught his bust out hand.

I believe his name on the start of Day 4 chip counts was a misprint.

I didn't see anybody mention Scott Palmer. Why is that? I hope he takes it down and makes an epic comeback to nosebleeds.

Where's he been? Has he played since BF?

Pulling for the girls still left, but this has to be the most yawn-inducing field at this stage in recent memory right? Obviously there are a few guys we've heard of like Madsen, but not one big name to get excited about.

you could get excited about the numerous players left who are incredibly good at poker, moreso than the majority of big names probably in terms of NLHE MTTs... the days of WPT just showing flips and getting entertainment value out of Phil Laak putting on a hoodie and doing pushups is over IMO, time to get entertainment out of high level play, and there's plenty of that left with this field

^ Some people just prefer to get excited over "big names" who have luckboxed a tournament or two while being total dicks or whatever, or they prefer to cheer their own gender, race, religion, etc.

For the rest of us, we get excited when players who are skillful and have spent a lot of time working on their game finally get their due, even if they are no-names to the general public.

Haven't been following too closely but I remember him saying shortly after BF that he wants to do something else in life at least for a while. I think since then he has played quite a bit of midstakes PLO and even up to 10/20 tho. Really really hope he binks this and starts battling with Blom again.
