how hard would it be to stall for half an hour and what would happen if they come close to that amount of time?
say 10 minutes flop, turn and then river.
well i guess it's pretty hard. still funny to think about it.

Antonio saying everyone should tank 10 seconds preflop was awful.

I think it is coincidence lol its not like they made the final 9 and moved to london. **** don't work like that. They were all pros b4 this and moved to lonDon praying for a situation like this. Man how thankful would martin b that he moved lol his lifetime earnings b4 this tourny like 4.8 milly so he literally doubled his lifetime earnings as a result of moving to a different country

Well, other pros actually tried that , Peter Eastgate as an example. Moved to London prior to november 9 after getting to the final 9. Martin though already live there since a while back, not unusual amongst high volume mtters from Sweden to live in other countries. It just kills your winrate otherwise to play on stars. Roi this and roi that, play 100 k tours and tax it all away if your roi is below 35%.

Actually it does. Peter Eastgate moved to London in the timespace between July and November 2008, and he ended up only paying taxes on 9th place money since that's what he was secured after the July part of the tournament.

Ok. Peter eastgate doing it doesn't make it any less coincidental this yr, these dudes all lived in London prior.

Guy just needs to relax. definitely outplayed himself. Played that hand pretty bad and his reasoning was pretty bad. I think he was on his high horse for making two final tables and leveled himself.

Explanation makes perfect sense, he didnt factor in his own aggro image though

Is there a way to watch the whole replay of the FT on Youtube (or somewhere else) ?

Used to try to watch live (despite the timezone of France making it difficult) by buying the ESPN player (you could replay it during the week) but only watched around 3 hours of play this year.

Is there a way to watch the whole play (i guess it's 15 hours long or something) ?

Thanks in advance.

Norwegian media reports today that Felix will have to pay ~50% tax to the Norwegian government despite the fact that he now lives in London.

Martin Jacobson, what a genius- He shoves 20 times on the shorty and no one picks up a card higher than a 9 every time...GENIUS!!!!!!

Same thing with HOOFERs Genius play for a day and a half. Nobody could get a hand but he was a genius too and his play was just amaaaazing.

How can that make you not want to just puke.

Would have been good advice for politano.
Seriously if you're folding then fold. Save the Hollywood for when you actually put chips in the pot.

No need to be so aggro, mofo.

You sound angry. I suggest you get some counselling.

I can't believe Antonio actually defended taking 10 seconds to fold every time preflop. Imagine if everyone did that in a 9 handed game. That's over a minute of pointless preflop tanking every single hand.

Lot of truth here. Jacobson was extremely fortunate nobody woke up with a hand during all those shoves.

If you have to pay ~50% tax on winnings, how can entering the ME possibly be +ev...?

I was thinking the same thing.

Yea such a beast, such an edge, completely "outplayed" everyone else at table.

I also lolled at 'van hoof just doesn't have it tonight like he did last night, last night he knew exactly where he was on every hand'

Quick question, sorry if it was answered before: The ESPN two hour summaries are no more, right? Any other highlights show or w/e without having to watch 10+ hrs? Thanks.

Funny how accomplished pros still have such poor concept of poker still they treat it like it's a game of basketball where you can out rebound or out hustle your way to victory

How many FT's of that 9 need to be played to get an idea of who's the best? 1000?

I bet you're the same guy that gets mad when a shorty keeps shoving on your blind and says " I can't wait to pick up aces and snap call!!!"

Since you know nothing about me, what makes you say that? I didn't say Jacobson didn't play it correctly. I only said he was very fortunate.
