It's not the most interesting story, so probably don't bother to read this, but here's the cliffs. I can't check them because Joe has now apparently blocked me on Twitter, so I'm sure a bit of this is slightly wrong:
I exposed yet another way that AP/UB was screwing over customers, (They had a rigged Keno game because they were too incompetent to set up a decent RNG:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...vg-zoo-898568/, which is pretty scary for a gambling company.)
Joe and the company both promised repayment. 2 months later, nobody had been repaid. I started mentioning this regularly on Twitter.
Joe at first said that what I was saying wasn't true and people had actually been repaid. Then he insisted that we take the conversation private (which seemed to be him MO every time someone publicly criticized UB. "That's not true." "Yes it is." "Oh, let's talk about it privately."). Then he acted like he was confused why I wanted people to be repaid for having played in a rigged game that he and his bosses promised people would be repaid for. Then he kept lying to me that somebody was going to talk to me, which never happened.
Then he told me that we were going to be paid in a week. I asked if I could talk about our conversation on Twitter, and he gave permission. He got mad at how I worded it (The company ran a rigged Keno game, didn't pay players, and lie about it. It's hard to sugar coat that...). I pussied out and removed the tweet like a few minutes after I'd posted it and apologized (I did nothing wrong and should not have done this, but whatever). In spite of that, he portrayed himself as the victim, flipped out at me, and stopped talking to me.
I was of course never contacted by anyone at AP in spite of his repeated promises that I would be. I only got repaid months later when I wrote a blog post about it that got a lot of attention.
This is obviously a drop in the ocean relative to what he did re: the superuser scandal. He's really good at wasting time and deflecting criticism. He seems to conveniently forget every goddam time that what he's said turns out to be false.
