Registration lines be gone if all day 1's are online.

As an alternative, full rake for those who choose to play day 1 live. Half rake if online.

The recreationals can therefore have the Vegas experience if they choose to play day 1 live.

Why are you pushing for excluding all tech illiterate people from playing in the WSOP?

You can't play a tourney half online and half live for obvious logistical reasons.

Bally's turning into Horseshoe this Spring

"The transformation will begin in the spring of 2022 and will include a renovated exterior, new entertainment and food and beverage options, and a reimagined casino floor and public areas. In keeping with Horseshoe's classic sophistication, the design team will incorporate a handcrafted feeling with tooled leather, dramatic colors, and the brand's signature gold horseshoe iconography. Additional details will be announced as the evolution progresses."

"The transformation to Horseshoe Las Vegas should be complete by the end of 2022."

Another wonderful idea if you want zero recs. They are already big underdogs and largely dead money, so let’s charge them double.

According to the article the original Horseshoe Casino became Binion's years ago, and now the WSOP is gonna be held at a new Horseshoe this year. Kind of a cool "full circle" moment for the World Series of Poker.

The uncertainty of the times (possible covid variants, flight cancelations, wars, labor and material supply issues, currency changes, etc.) forces the organizers to be somewhat "just in time" in their announcements. They don't wanna commit until its close. 3 months is "long term" these days, unfortunately.

When we went to the Circa a few months ago, we parked at Binion's. I swear the carpets have been unchanged since my Uncle brought me there in the 1990s. Filthy and worn. Beautiful!!!

The Bally's people should honor the original Horseshoe by copying the carpet floor and having the same design installed at the new Strip Horseshoe. The million dollar display should be glorified too. Plus, a poker museum should be opened with the WSOP Main Event winner pictures displayed in baroque designed golden frames - 3 feet by 3 feet portraits...with multiple spotlights shining on Stu Ungar's face. QR codes at the bottom of the portraits for wikipedia level info.

Max the sentimental and nostalgia.

They should just announce the events as they go the night before they run. That way people can get some more gamble in.

They need to make all their travel decisions with imperfect information just like poker!

Also to consider are Tuscany Suites (big rooms) and Ellis Island (cheap rooms). These two places are just a short walk from the Bally's employees parking lot. Also to consider are Westin and Platinum. Very close walk to Bally's/Paris. No Uber needed.

If you do stay at Bally's, book a room in the Jubilee tower. Rumor is, day ones will be in the Bally's conference center/ballrooms. If that is true, you'll be able to go from your room and get off the elevator on the conference room floor in the Jubilee tower. You won't even have to go through the casino. You'll basically be able to get off the elevator right at the WSOP area.

Any twitter, facebook, youtube, instagram or any other social media content from insiders or near insiders with regards to when the WSOP 2022 schedule might be coming out and how it might look like?

They promised January was gonna be the time that the schedule would be out. I understand they're wait and see as far as the covid and travel situation is concerned.

They did? I hadn't heard any such thing. I do know they said "The full 2022 WSOP schedule, including a booking link for discounted participant hotel rates, is expected to be published in January."

And they likely worded it that way (rather than, for example, "will be published") because other things might come up after that announcement in mid-November. Like, say, another variant?

So it would seem that now:
