I'd suggest that the rising US dollar will only have a positive benefit on those who play in the WSOP. The Euros(and other from around the world) effected by the increased travel/living costs are the pro poker players who are the toughest competition. These increased incidental costs eat into their ROI and might discourage them from coming. Wealthy international players who are much softer in the games wont be at all deterred by the currency fluctuation. So while their might be slightly fewer players overall, the competition should be a little weaker.
