Poker as a recreational game will probably never die. The game as a profession is another story completely.

Play money is too reg infested, a lot of GTO-like players. They really need to ban the HUDs from play money to make it playable again.

Yeah I agree there needs to be better regulations on this sort of thing to be honest. There should at minimum be mandatory pre-commitment levels.

I know as we have to make a living but that play money could be used to make play roads, buy play food and build play houses out in the real world.

I remember an old thread of some guy building up huge play money stacks and trading them to a friend for cash. He made a decent amount that way.

I hope it does, I'm sick of all these top pros training where the money doesn't matter, then playing for when it does like it doesn't! They are just too tough to handle!

Isn't the point here that (some) people enjoy playing the game of poker even when there is literally no money to be made at it, and when there is literally zero chance of winning stuff?
