What does ‘owning’ a tweet allow you to do that nobody else can do?
The only person who has the ability to delete that tweet isn’t the mug who paid almost $3m for it.
NFTs need their Emperor’s New Clothes moment.
I know nothing about NFTs and tweets.
What I have seen get the most traction is sports memorabilia in the form of video clips.
NFT market is in its infacy. it will continue to expand into some areas that are already here and obvious (video sports memorabilia) , and expand into many many others that are not so obvious.
Call it stupid. Call it worthless. Call it a fad.
Its not going away and will continue to grow exponentially for the foreseeable future. It will grown into some areas that are easy to forecast and more importantly grow into others that have yet to be contemplated.
