they were great about 5/6 years ago. nowadays, england has the best pound for pound core of players in the world. they simply aint that great anymore

It must be a cultural trait. Finland are known for having fearless rally drivers too, amoung the best in the world. mika hakkinen was talking about it in an interview once and said the Finnish have a saying called "SISU" which means something like being brave
