I play poker all year around to save up for the wsop, once im there i bring my whole bankroll that i saved up all year. From there i try to score big, so i can buy a house cash, and go back to work, and do it all over again next year!!!

Better than most other ways to earn money being a student. I guess a few students will always have the luck/skill to get a nice/interesting/well paid job while studying, most however will have some not so well paid/boring job. I'd rather play poker than work at mcdonalds or whatever...

I like playing mostly on the side while I still work because it's nice to have some skill at something that gives you the chance at making money on the side without depending on it. I guess I can rationalizing spending time playing and improving at poker because of that draw of making money, where as spending free time playing video games, reading or watching tv doesn't help your bottom line.
