Just wondering why Bellagio never hosted things like High Stakes Poker, Poker After Dark etc...? It was where all the big games were at the time, as opposed to the obscure venues these shows ended up on like the South Point.
If I recall correctly, HSP was hosted at the following casinos:
Season 1 = Golden Nugget
Season 2 = The Palms
Season 3 = South Point
Season 4 = South Point
Season 5 = Golden Nugget
Season 6 = Golden Nugget
Season 7 = Bellagio
Concur that Bellagio really did not need the hassles for the sake of promotion...most poker players already know about it and the masses know it all too well from movies. It is unlikely that poker players were going to change their travel plans simply because Bellagio hosted a high stakes game/series that was televised...
(To say nothing of the fact that Bellagio management likely realizes poker players are inherently cheap and would be unwilling to pay for the rooms at the rate typically associated with the property)
