Who is this TESLA guy on the Lodge Stream?

There’s this new guy who goes by TESLA who has been playing absolutely crazy on the Lodge Stream.
Anybody know his background or who he is?

He made a bunch of crazy plays today and yesterday going all in and bluffing 3 streets.
It’s been a while since there has been someone so entertaining on these poker streams.

For those who haven’t seen it, definitely go look at the Lodge Stream from today and yesterday.
He makes Doug Polk fold in a huge pot on the river, so crazy.

All these games in texas have revealed a new type of poker player. First you had the fish. Then you had the chinese whales. Now you have the oil barrons. These guys have infinite money from their inheritance and can splash around like crazy.

If you have spent any significant time in TX, private or public games, it doesn’t take an “oil baron” to play like this, its usually a few at the table any given time.

Granted they may not last long, but splashy play is standard, it makes playing in the games tougher.

Better name: Oil CAN lol

Yeah this.

Every room you go there is always 1 or 2 players who are known as the money guys who punt a few $k every session at 1/3 or 2/5. People like Tesla who punt tens of thousands into the 6 figures at these stakes in poker rooms just don't come around often.

I have to give props to Doug Polk for the vibe he manages to create consistently on The Lodge. It is so much better than at HCL its incredible.

If I were a terrible rich rec like Tesla or Texas Mike and had the choice of going to The Lodge or HCL it would be the easiest choice ever. At The Lodge they are actually having fun. At HCL you have a bunch of surly regs tanking.
