Not sure what happened to him after that and his Hendon Mob seems to now be disabled.

He strolled into my local card room and sat at the £1/2/5 PLO table I was at.

He was splashing around in every pot and generally being disrespectful to anything and everything around him. He was playing pretty bad but getting away with it.

I then get into a pot with him. ~£500 by the river. I was OOP and a flush came on the river. I had the Q high flush and decided that my best play was to lead with a 1/3rd pot blocker bet as this was a good way to prevent being bluffed and might get paid off by a straight. Anyway, you can guess what happened, he potted it. I folded, he showed the nut flush and blurted out "thank you for the donation", in a sort of sinister film baddie voice, which is how he speaks.

I thought who the f*** does this guy think he is. I was absolutely fuming and in an insta second gained the strength of a miniature Incredible Hulk. Later on that evening another reg said he thought I was about to jump over the table and attack Galic. I did feel like doing that but counted to 10 and went to the toilets to splash some water on my face, calm down and to tell myself that the guy was a PLO fish so just be professional and play my game.

The following day I found out who he was as he at some point told us his name was Dragan and it was then that I saw that he was known for needling players in tournaments and also that he was a brown belt in martial arts! So a lucky miss for me as I think my in the moment mini Hulk would still have taken a massive beating in a fight.

It also turned out that he was in town (London) to play a high roller Hold'em tournament the following day so probably explained why he was splashing around in a small PLO game the night before.

Anyone know what happened to him after 2011?
Weird how he disappeared!!

RE Mike M - Good to hear and why I was clear on the time frame being 2006.
(warning name drops in this post)
Interestingly the incident was at a $1500 NL buyin that ran during the Main Event and Phil H was sitting at the next table for several hours and Matusow was giving Phil a TON of **** also screaming over at him (from 15 foot away). To Phils credit he actually responded very little and pretty darn softly to Mike's antics until he finally told Mike to calm down and back off........ basically a "that's enough Mike" comment and Mike actually did so ......... unfortunately he then just began to double barrel the rest of the table. When Mike finally busted (and loudly berated the player who dared to call his bluff action ... the guy that eventually won the event) J C Tran just shook his head softly and smiled as Mike and his posse (yes MM had about 20 people railing him) took off for the exits out of the money.

It definitely was in Matusow's nose candy days but he was a pure AxxHole and it was all a nobody like me could do to not stand up and cheer when he stormed off.

Side note - heard Hellmuth talking during the ME broadcasts that Mike M desperately wants to get into the Poker Hall of Fame.......... Mike can only be glad I don't get to vote.........

Mike Matusow has to be the most obnoxious idiot I have ever encountered. The fact that we even know his name is a testament to how DRY the persona's in professional poker are.

Negraneau is corny as hell and gets press. Helmuth is a gawky nerd with no charisma. The only guy that would be a guy who would be the life of the party is Antonio Esfandiari in my opinion. Poker is desperate for a few good players with charisma and charm.

I've never met him but I always root against Jamie Gold. Just hearing him talk to other players during hands as if he is getting the upper hand tilts the sh...t out of me.

The hand where he begs Sammy Farha into confusion and the hand is checked down on the river
is one of the most tilting televised hands I've ever watched.

for me id have to say negreanu and his high and mighty hot takes on everything that goes on in the world. he had 30 person rail with 90 people left in a tournament i was in this year and was really playing a part dancing around singing telling people how great he is for eating kale...typical negreanu when it got late in the night and his rail disappeared completely different person. with that being said i do sort of understand it. he represents poker stars and wants to keep cashing their checks, but still very annoying.
