Cool, thanks. The swings were nowhere near what they could have been.

Is it too early to talk about next week's show? The Poker Masters series is supposed to be starting on Wednesday night, and they've had this pic (!) up on their page for a couple of weeks now ...

That'd be so mean of them to post Phil Ivey's pic, and then he didn't actually show up to play Guess they did manage to have Tom Dwan come and make a big splash on the season premiere of Poker After Dark ... so maybe there's *a* chance??

The writer who's been posting all the scoops on PokerCentral has put together a list of people so far, but it doesn't sound like it came from the show?
https://www.pokercentral.com/article...ational-affair

Daniel Negreanu
Tom Marchese
Brian Rast
Doug Polk
Fedor Holz
Rainer Kempe
Stefan Schillhabel
Dominik Nitsche
Charlie Carrel
Sergio Aido
Adrian Mateos
Maybe Phil Hellmuth too?

I missed like the first 3 hours of Day 1 Jungle-Cash. I actually LOVED all the table talk.
Sure some of it was a bit sanctimonious and "Why can't these non-millionaires be happy and content in life, life's easy" but the parts where they talked about specific players, scandals, etc was great.

My favorite part was when they were talking about the Durrr Challenge and how it could be accomplished in 80 hours.
Ike suggests they should just to an Iron-Man, 80 hours all at once.

Jungle - That would be very plus EV for [Tom]
Ike - Relative to...
Jungle - Relative to him getting F*CKING CRUSHED. This gives him some wild card chance.

Imo, the first night of cash games started off pretty nitty and table talk was pretty blah/fakeintellectual. Then the game really picked up, and day 2 was much better. Berkey seemed to be a huge donk, and to really run pretty hot/get away with a lot. All in all, fun to watch and looking forward to more PAD and the PokerMasters.

Combined Totals for 2 Days:

Koon: ++$317,500
Haxton: ++$61,900
Jungleman: ++$51,800
Berkey: ++$9,100

Polk: --$205,200
Rast: --$214,000

Rast & Polk lost the prop bet against Jungleman as well.

so Koon banked $550k profit including the $250k sit-n-go win

Publicly challenge a guy who's never going to accept, who was in his prime almost 10 years ago, for an amount you can't afford to play for yourself anyway. Makes total sense.

Why not challenge a current top HSNL player?

Polk should challenge the KING of all LAS VEGAS KNIGHTS Berkey. Polk really talked down to the KING throughout the two sessions. Even blatantly took a shot at him saying something to the like of "it is real tempting to top off with you guys to my left (Berkey) and those guys to my right." If Polk wants some I'm sure the KING OF LAS VEGAS KNIGHTS will oblige.

This proposed fantasy match between Polk and Berkey could be the Mayweather vs. McGregor of poker. A big time money fight that would bring tons of spectators. On one side we have the online killer and on the other we have the king of LV live play. 2 similar but different sport. The publicity will be great for both of their brands (Upswing, Polk's social media, solveforwhy, the voice within). There also seems to be a legitimate disdain for one another (at least on Polks end). There can be podcasts and other media events hyping the match. Come on guys let us do it!

Online GTO vs. The ANTI-GTO LAS VEGAS KNIGHTS

I used to watch Polk's youtube, but they got really f$%king old quick, I think its him.

But, on this weeks session of PAD he really showed his douche baggery!!

The first cash game session with him clearly showed this, when Mr. "****ing Know It All" doesn't even let Koon put his chip bag away before this clown just cant help himself and has to chime in with his words of wisdom, "Umm Koon, you have to tell the dealer what you're adding on", Like THANK YOU Doug, NO Sheaz! Not be cool about it and say, "hey (koon), how much you adding on", then the dealer can hear and tell everyone! NO not this weirdo!

Need I even mention how he blatantly just tells Haxton, "No, that's not true", lol like Ok Doug tnxs. WTF? How awkwardly anti social is this guy? Any normal person would be like, "I'm not sure" "Is that true", even say "what, how is that?", but to just be a loser and say naw that didnt happen, thats not true! WTF!

People that actually like Doug's "Chatter" at the table are delusional, the boy couldn't be any more annoying AF, his laugh is annoying, that voice uhhh, he is so awful! I wish I never seen him again on the show (To my sanity and detriment im sure it wont be the last time tho, ugggg)!

Another thing I saw was ppl NOT involved in the pot talking about how the pot should be played out!

Opinions are just like a-holes. Everybody's got one.

I enjoyed Doug's chatter at the table, and think his personality added a lot to the lineup.

Ya, except that when enough people say it, it becomes fact!

And inevitably this man child, that 95% of the time starts laughing at his own jokes before anyone else does, if they do at all, will not last and will get old quick!

And if you think the other players enjoyed his completely annoying self, well than you need to come sit at my table cuz you just dont know how to read ppl sorry!

I like Doug's table presence in general and don't consider myself remotely delusional....
You seem to skip over the positive attributes that Polk brings to the table, such as.....

- his fun demeanour
- he laughs consistently, regardless of winning or losing
- he asks interesting questions, is willing to engage in conversation and seems well informed about a lot of topics.

I'd argue that Rast and Berkeley in particular are quite miserable, boring to watch and a generally possess a rather ugly sense of superiority over their fellow competitors....

Just saying....
