Who do you want to see play on the New Poker After Dark - Page 14 - Poker News

They went with a real safe lineup to start but they got Dwan so I expect people will overlook it.

But hopefully we do get guys like Polk, Siever, Ivey, soon.

But I think people will just be happy to get new poker content, really.

Maybe there's some room to do interesting things with the selection of business player as well?

Not sure if Chamath Palihapitiya would be interested in appearing on the show, but he seems to have a wide variety of interests - maybe that might make for some interesting table chat?

He used to be an exec at Facebook, but left to form a start up (venture capital firm), and he's part owner of the Golden State Warriors ...

Only thing I wanna see is Dwan running for his life stage left from Junglleman...only to run into 5 Greek mafia hoods repping Harry Voulgaris. The hoods can then hold little Tommy upside down and see how much in cash and Bitcoins fall out of his pocket to settle his debt to H.V. Then, and only then can Jungleman have him.

After the dust settles Dwan can go back to floating 3 streets to hi 6 figure pots. lol

Well I initially thought this, but then it might also be PokerShares going by what they thinks the market might pay, and generally it seems that the market would over-pay for Negreanu. And I think they do the same thing for some other events/players also sometimes.

I just finished watching episode #10 of The Solve For Why Chronicles (a video blog starring Matt Berkey). It features him participating in a test show for the new Poker After Dark. They were playing 500/1k and 1k/2k NL with Aussie Matt.

I would like to see Alec Torelli and Negreanu and Doug Polk on. Griffin Benger and Kassouf would be fun too. It would be cool to see how the old school Antonius and Ivey do against today's top cash game players as I hope they don't play it safe and only show already heavily televised players, but introduce some new stars who haven't been much on tv so far.

Now that they mention this, seem to remember maybe hearing that a couple of poker players were investing in Poker Central?

I had no idea that DNegs, Hellmuth or Esfandiari had any ownership in Poker Central. What does the FCC say about promoting a product without disclosing that you have a financial interest in it?

I know you're not supposed to do paid promotions (like ads) while hiding the fact that they're ads. Not sure if this is quite the same thing.
