7 handed with JRB in the straddle (playing $100/$200). Hellmuth wakes up with AA on the button and limps, gets back to JRB who pops it up, to maybe $2K. Back to phil who ships it for $115K

JRB tanks for an age. I figured there was no chance he was calling, as Phil is a rock during this game (he has sold about 18% of himself on a staking site too). JRB is loud, and announces in a speech about calling, then was hoping that the floorman would force him to call (didn't look like an angle at all).

Still tanking, JRB says he has to fold, and maybe that he is folding (unsure on his exact wording), and shows his cards but keeps them in his hand. Decides to put them back down on the RFID reader area.

Tanks for 3-4 more mins, asking Phil if its ok if he will call, as he can see it being a dick move to announce fold, and then later call.

Emmett is not only an annoying fish, he is a weasel. You dont choose to run it once when your ahead and twice when your a dog. He was a once guy the first day especially when he was ahead and then twice when Norm rolls over kings to his queens.
He took advantage of Norm showing his hand before how many times they would run it was discussed.
Such garbage. He would get booted from the game I play with that BS.

Maybe I'm a potato but to me this doesn't matter at all. He's not stealing any equity in any way by doing it.

I play in a cash game. Its amongst recs and pros. We are all friends but competitors. The guy who runs the game would ban anyone who pulled this move. To me its one of the shadiest moves you can pull and the intent is there. Emmett knows hes ahead and doesnt want to see more cards. The equity stays same but variance changes.
