Barry Woods is one of the biggest high-stakes fish I've ever seen. The guy is absolutely clueless at the table and makes plays based on nothing but impulse. Antonio wrecked him over and over again.

But he beat business-man Doug Polk HU in like a 65 hand sample size!

Personally I don't find her chat annoying, however Lauren has such a hard on for Antonio it is embarrassing - she literally mentions him in every single sentence.

It's tough to complain about $10/mo and they have a huge archive. But, if you're only really interested in cash games, the 2-3 shows a month is kind of a disappointment.

They need JRB back on show and mix in some wizards and loud mouth players.

The main thing I was excited to see from PAD in 2017 was new school pros vs old school pros and they've really failed in this regard.

The episodes with Rick Salomon and Aaron Zhang were worth the cost of a full year's subscription though.

Zang is the person I've enjoyed watching the most across all the poker I've ever watched. Funny, action and just all around likeable. I hope he ends up in many more episodes.

wow, im pretty sure that pot between jackie and antonio has to be the biggest pot in televised cash history in terms of BBs. i had to replay it to make sure there wasnt a straddle on. its also one of the more bizarre hands ive seen in awhile. for those without a subscription, heres what happened...

$25/$50, there are occasional $100 straddles but not this hand.

jackie opens QQ in the CO to $200, antonio 3bets button with T9o to $700, folds back to jackie who cuts out 4betting chips, then fumbles them for a moment, eventually decides on a flat. $1475 in there going to the flop which comes 8d Ks Qd.

jackie checks, antonio bets $900, jackie c/r to $3500, antonio calls without much hesitation. nothing but the gutter, and the 9d for the backdoor.

turn Js, board now 8d Ks Qd Js. antonio the luckbox smashes the gutterball. jackie bets $8000 into $8575, antonio raises to $24800, jackie tanks while staring down antonio hard, makes this weird motion and kisses a $100 chip as he cuts out a 3bet, dealer thinks he says "all in", he corrects him and says he didnt, kisses the chip again and now puts in the 3bet to $63100. antonio doesnt take long before asking the dealer to "borrow his button". dealer seems confused, antonio clarifies he means the all in plaque. antonio asks if asking for it is a binding all in, dealer says no and gives it to him. antonio then pushes it forward without saying anything, and the dealer now announces hes all in. jackie sighs and calls off the remaining $43650, as antonio had shoved for $106000 total.

the pot is now $222075. jackie asks once or twice, antonio says just once. river is the 4h. final board 8d Ks Qd Js 4h. antonio scoops what ends up being a 4441 BB pot. ....yes, four thousand, four hundred and forty one big blinds. a $220k heads up pot at $25/$50! jackie had antonio covered by $16k so antonio gets the full double.

in terms of BBs, i dont think ive ever seen a pot of that size in any televised cash game, nor in any online or live pot ive been at the table for. not even in PLO. how the hell is it possible to lose 2200 BBs in NLHE without the nuts vs nuts and losing to a redraw? jackie did play it poorly IMO, both pre and on the turn. if he sizes the turn bet smaller, and doesnt 3bet after he gets raised, he loses much less. anybody know of any televised or online hands that were this large in terms of BBs?

no idea who <jackie> is, but they are clearly not a pro, so them making mistakes cannot be that surprising

"Games of our Lives" Week on Poker After Dark

Enjoy two nights of high stakes no limit hold’em cash game action starting on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00pm ET, headlined by former Days of Our Lives star Farah Galfond, née Fath. Galfond, who played Mimi Lockhart on the NBC soap opera from 1999 till 2007, has been competing at the highest level for years now, becoming a regular in the highest stakes games in Vegas.

In this $100,000 buy-in $200/$400 with a $400 big blind ante, Galfond makes her Poker After Dark debut and is up against the likes of Bob Bright, Bill Klein, Jacky Wang, and two additional big names and familiar faces. Tune in to find out who shows up to the table!

Start times: 3:00pm PT | 6:00pm ET | 12:00am CET"
I wonder why they just write "two additional big names and familiar faces" instead of writing out who the pros are? Are they doing a lottery of who gets to sit just before it starts? lol

It'd be nice if they said. I cancelled my subscription when there were no shows for like 3 weeks in late Oct/early Nov and didn't get it for the last round of shows. I don't think Farah Galfond is going to add more subs.

Last two players tonight are Berkey and Perkins

edit: so
Bob Bright, Farah Galfond, Jacky Wang, Bill Klein, Matt Berkey, Bill Perkins

Finally a lineup Berkey might not lose money in

That is going to be a game with some unorthodox plays, that's for sure.

Bill Klein - The most boring reg on PAD
Bob Bright - Seemingly a super passive world renown nit

Perkins - Thumbs up
Jackie - Meh
Galfond's Wife - Never heard of, but she's hot.

Berkey - Fun to watch lose

Already with the BTC talk.
Edit - Old men talking about BTC, even more fun

Interesting... This Jackie dude pretty much just Angleshot Farah.

Tanks for 10 minutes, like he does on every decision. Then grabs the chips goes forward like 2 feet and sees Farah start to turn over her full house. He then pulls them back and, tanks a little more, and folds.

Pretty shady sis.

Jackie angle shooting Farah Galfond with forward movement to call her $20k value bet with trip 8's. He sees her reaching to table her cards then pulls his bet back and folds. Not cool. Hard not to still like Jackie though.

Same, I'm digging her. Commerce style angle by Jackie.

Edit: Jackie just folded A8cc on J9Q with backdoor flush draw.
