I'd have to say it's very possible that Berkey is not even a particularly good player. It may well be that his bread and butter profits are purely from being very good at game selecting games against weak opponents.

He's openly stated that on line poker is not his thing but that he excels at looking his opponent in the eye in live games and reading them.

The river call is obviously ludicrous, and as you said even more so given that he's holding two key drawing cards, making it much more likely that his opponent has a made hand.

Yes that is possible I guess, because his hand is obviously a good one to check raise the flop with.

I don't understand that either if the hand is what we think it was as you can comfortably get it in on the flop or don't mind building the pot for future streets.

I know there's all this stuff about balancing your plays etc, but OOP with a Royal Flush gutshot draw, c'mon, check raise with it to get 1 pair hands to pass (them calling is fine too), or they sometimes get it in with worse draws than ours.

I love me some Garrett, but I didn't really understand his AK hand with Siever.
He 4 bets him huge pre, Siever has like 60K total left.
Pot is 60K and Garrett leads 15K and tanks for a while and ends up calling and scooping.

I don't get the 15K bet if you're not snapping a shove.

Garret is our God now.
