He talked about this in a podcast, maybe it was with Doug? Saying something along the lines of 'If you're doing Math and get really angry, you still do the same Math...'

Berkey is the man, might not come off as well on TV,look up the heads up with Remko podcast with him. His poker mentality reminds me of Garrett Adelstein.

So no show on PokerGo this week until this Aria High Roller on Friday?

Maybe they didn't want to have a show on the same time as King of the Hill 3? Almost forgot about it - it looks like starts at 6pm tonight?

They need more PLO episodes but introduce the following criteria: action players, a shot clock, antes, and only running it once.

I agree. I play exclusively PLO and even I found those PLO episodes to be lame. Running it twice doesn't make for great TV in a format where near flips are so common. Would have also loved to see how pros adjust to exploit a fun player like a Roberts or Perkins. Or even how a super LAG, action player shakes up the game.

I wonder how the # of viewers compared to NLHE cash episodes.

Yeah, not sure "they need" more PLO episodes, I mean worth a try if they take your suggestions, but otherwise no thanks. Even Dwan shortstacked it with 40k for most of the time bc the line-up was too rough or whatnot.

Big buy-In regular NL cash for now simply has the most potential for making entertaining episodes. Then it comes down to the cards.

As a side note, not sure why Perkins is hyped up as super "fun" and "splashy" etc. repeatedly. Bc yes he's loud, yes he's obnoxious, yes he's somewhat entertaining, but frankly his actual play was pretty goddamn passive/nitty for a billionaire whale. Not saying he's doing it wrong, but I think it is worth noting that perception hasn't necessarily matched his playing style.

Probably a dumb question but is Eric Baldwin related to Bobby Baldwin?

He was splashing around a lot from what I can remember, but he is also prone to go into nit mode occasionally. I think he got really rattled when his set lost to 2 pair and didn't feel like losing any more cash. All in all, he's incredible for the game though and seems like a solid dude and engaging personality.

I will say it again, Rick Calling $60,000 preflop in the small blind with K5 suited is 100x more entertaining than durrrr sitting there with a $40,000 stack in a plo game.

If they are gonna do PLO they should do 10hands of nl then 10 hands of PLO so at least the mouthbreathers at home know what's going on half the time. Would love to see mixed games but limit on tv is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Gosh, nothing scheduled until Nov. 16?

Guess there's always something interesting on Twitch Also, guess some of the high-rollers for the WSOPE are coming up later this week? Wasn't able to find the chart with the starting times, but it seemed like many of the streams start around 9am EST?

And then, maybe there'll be another King of the Hill in November as well?

How much did Dwan win roughly on each of the 3 nights he played NL, and how much did he win/lose overall playing PLO?

Thx in advance

I'm fairly certain that I saw a new episode of PAD scheduled for November 6th on their site that is now removed. Can anyone else confirm or deny this? It sucks that they're having problems putting together lineups and having to cancel shows.

They need Aaron Zang to comeback with some of his friends for short deck.

Yes! Seem to remember seeing something showing on their site early last week as well, for a Poker After Dark sometime much sooner than the one listed now.

Guess there's always the WSOP streams until then - the FT for the $25k may be on tomorrow?

While was on the WSOP site, wound up clicking on a link that was off to the side of the page (http://www.wsop.com/2017/wsope/) - and it looks like a list of people who may have made a (refundable?) deposit for the $111,111 One Drop that starts in a couple of days?

http://www.wsop.com/2017/wsope/High%...ant%20List.pdf

The list is showing some of the people who seem to play the One Drop every year, like Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Hellmuth. And then it also seems to have many of the people who have been playing on Poker After Dark, like Lauren Roberts, Bill Perkins, Jungleman ... also Dan Shak, Andrew Robl, and Aussie Matt as well? Wonder if maybe everybody is still considering going to the WSOPE to play the One Drop, if they're not already there? So maybe we'll get a PAD-like WSOPE One Drop edition, showing on the WSOP sight instead of Poker Go this week, if some of them do decide to go?

Kind of a strange list they put up, because there seem to be typos and an old date - and it even shows Phil Ivey. Wouldn't that be something if Phil Ivey started playing poker again He doesn't seem to have played anything in a while - maybe unlikely that he'll be showing up? Guess we can hope!

King's Casino and PartyPoker were streaming a 200/400 cash game on twitch a couple of nights ago. I think it's likely that we'll see at least 1 more high stakes cash game stream this week.

Oh hey, hadn't noticed that one Had noticed a couple of others a couple of days ago - on Halloween night, the PNIA channel had some cash games showing on Twitch, and everybody got dressed up in costumes. And it looked like the LATB channel may have had cash games streaming as well?

Finally managed to find that WSOPE stream schedule again - the times didn't look super North America friendly, but it looks like the €25k FT stream may have just started in the last hour or so ... so maybe there'll still be a chance to catch some of the play each day?

It's nice that there's a WSOPE, and everybody in Europe who didn't have a chance to catch the live streams of the One Drop and the WSOP ME from beginning to end while they were in Vegas will have a chance now - that was quite good fun, especially as it got deeper with only a couple of tables left, with all that life-changing money on the line and that great mix of different people with different playing styles

Agree... Zang is the best addition to the scene since Matt Kirk imo. Also regarding Perkins week, here are my random observations and thoughts...

Berky plays super high cash like I played 100nl in 2008, he must be a super mark in these games..? The guy never double barrels, places himself in difficult situations frequently and misses value when ahead, although it’s fair to say he didn’t run particularly well during the session.

Solamon ran like god in most instances and facing a more even run of cards would rate to lose, despite his aggro style, in most pro heavy line ups.

Jungle played solid throughout and haralbob played better (and looser) than I expected..

That is all
