Some of the best $10 (a month..) I've ever spent. This is great.

Zang bets 2x pot on river. Jungle wants to hero. Meanwhile Doug and Perkins are rummaging through Zang's personal belongings casually pulling out hundreds of thousands of $$$ from Zang's purse, right after doing rock-paper-scissors over who gets to guess the amount first

Note to pokergo producers reading this: I am very price sensitive so don't take my appreciation for your product as me being super elastic about the pricing, k?

The 5k seven deuce gets negotiated as Polk wakes up with the 7-2 and takes it down preflop. This show is great. Zang is great doesn't know what the seven deuce game is gets explained to him and he wants to play for 10k not 1k. Gotta love the action!

How uncomfortable does Marchese look playing this. Every time thy gamble he looks as if he wants to quit or texts his backers for permission.

I'm curious about this too. Who are just a couple of these "lot of people" who think he's full of it? Pretty much all the NBA thoughts I've read/heard from him have been pretty sharp stuff, and his lifestyle seems to indicate a level of wealth built from something.

Yep. Everyone knows his dad was successful corporate raider. Wake up sheeple. Guy just humps it in on the "darkhorse" Jazz every night. Big secret Bob.

I subscribed for the first time, logged into with 8 minutes left on break, got my cheetos all ready and it's over. Damn.

This is a good example of this game being just too large for these guys to want to play for too long, especially against each other...

Yes, the game needed another action player or fish but Rick Salmon escaped the pool.

now that high stakes week is over we can recap a bit...

First, incredible job by pokergo to keep me paying the $10 per month. I subscribed just to watch the Aria SHBs and planned on cancelling immediately after the WSOP, but hearing about PAD return had me hooked.

They've hit and missed with some episodes, but you can't blame the producers for trying some new stuff. Yeah, the escalating blinds / no rebuy or straddle episodes blew, but blaming them for trying something new will prevent us from getting innovative stuff in the future. As for the PLO stuff, I think the player pool was a bigger problem than anything else. At the very least, get some splashers in PLO and don't let anyone run it more than twice.

That said, the Dwan episodes were great and this past week's episodes were even better. The only thing missing from the show is a certain recent HoF inductee - if PAD can somehow get Dwan and Ivey at the same table, I'd keep my sub running until I die.

I also really like the new PAD and Ali's commentary is pretty good (hard to do for 6 hours I reckon).

More PLO would be great, it seems more fluid with less tanking and painful ambiguity. It's not as "solved" as hold-em, which is more or less a sim-fest.

PLO is actually really boring to watch in comparison to NLHE (coming from me as a pure PLO player).

You are right that PLO is less solved, but so many situations play themselves. NLHE is more dynamic in the way that you can do a lot of weird **** with some weird ass hands. In PLO you just can't do weird **** ever or you get demolished, you either have the equity or you don't. You don't run pure bluffs, you don't bluff jam before the river, you don't do anything weird really. NLHE allows you to be crazy in a whole other way.
