I'm excited that Poker After Dark is returning, but the press release by Poker Central only names Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari as players. It seems as though Poker After Dark is hoping to rely on the star power of these and other big names like Hellmuth from the poker boom era instead of showcasing young high level talent who is also entertaining.

Players like Scott Seiver and Doug Polk. When Joe Ingram interviewed Mori Eskandari he seemed unable to name any young players he enjoyed watching and then eventually said Fedor. I love Fedor, but he's the most boring person to watch play poker; every movement is slow and robotic and he tanks forever. I'd enjoy seeing Fedor on the show because of how talented he is, but he's certainly not my first choice.

I don't want to watch Negreanu, Esfandiari, JRB beat up on Bobby Baldwin, Cary Katz, Bill Perkins etc.

We should be watching players like Scott Seiver, Doug Polk and Timofey Kuznetzov beat up on Negreanu, Esfandiari and Hellmuth.

Fair point, but relative to Negreanu and Esfandiari who were on High Stakes Poker season 1 in 2006 he's young - especially in terms of exposure. I'm actually not too familiar with people a generation younger than Seiver. Who would you like to see from that age group?

Jake Schindler would be fun to watch on PAD

In a perfect would I'd love to see every episode have a mix between old pros (Dnegs, Hellmuth, etc) new pros such as Polk, and celebs. That would be awesome.

I think PAD was 100/200 - 400/800. I think High Stakes Poker was mostly 500/1k but was bumped up a couple times I believe.

I'm hoping for 200/400+ uncapped
