I think it runs until 1200 EST, but they did say something about 'last break' at the last break, so not sure ... GL

52AQ2

Tosoc 55
Ike A5
Robl J3

Ike raises to like 2K pre on Robl's straddle, Tosoc calls, Robl calls

Ike leads flop for 2K, Tosoc raises to 6K, Robl flats, Ike makes it 18K... Call Call

Ike leads turn for 40K, Tosoc calls leaving himself 34K behind, Robl fold

Ike checks river, and Tosoc checks back not betting his final 34K

Because Ike is checking river with AA or 22, and not betting the final 34K
LOLZ

Almost everything about Ike tilts me, and the commentators going with the "He plays slow and deliberately because he's too smart" only tilts me more.

So far, like 3 hours in, Berkey has played well and is winning... When does this Berkey collapse happen?

Berkey shoves, NZealand calls fairly quickly like 20 sec.

Then NZealand said "Sorry about the nitroll."
And then Berkey said "fml he called quickly then apologized for nitroll with a hand I thought would fold!"

he thought that was a fold? maybe lower flushes i guess, but he's the one playing those stakes not I.

They said these were some newer players that the others may not know their style.

At the higher stakes this bluff is supposed to work more often than we might expect, but I think he missed the boat on how NZ was playing. Most of his actions were quick and aggressive, instinct actions with little time to talk himself out of a decision.

I also think I heard him talking with Young that he was still on his first BI from the bullpen. First BI Players tend to call-off more than players who are giving up profit and/or are stuck 2-3 BIs IMO. Of course he had already dumped all his profit from the main game into this pot so what do I know!

Berkey has to be aware of his own rep, and the resultant higher percentage of calls that others might not get in the same spot. His sessions sometimes mimic my own ... win lots of sm/med pots before Showdown, but lose a whopper in the end for lots of chips either via bluff or suckout. GL

'New Zealand' is from Australia, don't insult us like that by letting them claim our good players and leaving us with Aussie Matt

You’re right. I thought he said he was from NZ when him and Garrett were talking.

New Zealanders are like “Where’s the car” and Australians are like, “Where’s the car”
(Flight of the Conchords reference. Did people watch that show?)

Berkey should really pick a board where he can actually have some boats next time

He was a big online grinder so it'd be plausible he lives in NZ now post-ban in Australia.

Points for the Conchords reference

Why does Poker After Dark not include player positions as part of their graphics? It's really frustrating

Love the PokerGO. I’m sure they will try but I will cut them slack if they can’t pull it off as often as we may like. It just keeps on getting better with graphics and new games.

Great telecast last night, favorite part was when Bergman made that 25K steam call flip of the chip off the table

Lol yeah that was funny. I also enjoyed the NL2-7 hand where Gus 3bet out the bb vs Lyle’s hj open, drew 2 to a T98, made his 10 and got paid off, then Doyle to Gus’ direct left instantly added 300k to his stack

Lol yeah not sure what he was thinking in that hand as I doubt he had fold equity pre so that he would just pat and go for it.

Also the 2-7 hand where Berman drew 3 twice and got a wheel and Monnette is like “nice job”
