also mike served our country and bought me dinner once so he pwns. he is a right wing nutbag though.

ive seen and talked to him in the venetian poker room quite a few times and id describe him as annoying.. He may be nice and likeable but i wouldnt exactly call him a winner in life. He always looks like he hasnt showered in weeks, makes an ass out of himself, and dresses like a bum (sandals and short socks not a good look imo).

He is the prototypical degen poker player with no life

Last time I saw Mike was at some blind wine tasting party (cheap wine rules!); he was with a nice looking gf (maybe fiancee) and Mike was very clean cut. Then again I think he was still in the Navy which would probably help most youth (past, present and future).

I watched him (from the next table) play a 10k LHE at the V a few weeks ago. His HU LHE game impressed me and not much impresses me. He seems to have serious poker talent. I guess time will tell if he can hold it together and make something out of it. As I watched him play, I couldn't help but think Stu Ungar. Maybe i'm over estimating his abilities, but I was impressed.

On Tues August 19th, 2008 Crazy Mike was playing at the Venecian he had 20 racks of red being dragged around by the floor people on a table behind him he played 2/5 NL on Table 8 for an hour and a half were he raised 5X blind nearly every hand, (I love it) ... He kept telling us that he has $250,000 more behind so gamble it up.

He then moved to Table 19 a 1/2 NL game where his stick was to move all in for $100 blind every hand and if he won he would let it ride next hand. I followed him to Table 19 .. I love his action.

He then tried playing on the 2/5NL Table 11 and the 1/2 NL on Table 19 at the same time and he tips so heavy the floor people do not say anything except "No Problem" ... then he got bored on Table 19 and quit the 1/2 NL.

I followed him again to Table 11 but by the time I got there he got bored and quit all together. He drinks bunches of Pepsi then He has the waitress bring him 2 6 packs of Corona cartons filled with Fiji water instead of Corona. 12 Bottles of water to 1 person at once. Did I say he tips well? I believe he left about 3 1/2 racks down in about 2.5 hours ... He said that he would rather give the money to poker players instead of the casino in the pits... God Bless his way of thinking. He did take about 8 bottles of water with him when he left. (Is that $700 a bottle? )

from all that i've read, his antics seem to be in line with the **** teenage girls do, like saying "lol im such a nerd" every time they do something that requires remedial knowledge of technology. except that the angle he's playing up is the crazy gambler.

I was playing the 10/20nl game at the bellagio a couple days ago, Mike D. and a few other regs were in the game and up came this kid saying he wanted to challenge anyone to play higher and we kinda just all stared at him lol same kid im sure he was saying that 10/20nl was too low and he wanted to play alot higher, one guy at the table said "why dont you stop telling us stories and tellin us how much money you have and sit down in this game"...he talked to this kid for a bit then walked away a few people at the table were trying to figure out wtf just happened...I know alot of you guys said he wanted to play higher HOLDEM LIMIT but he was asking for NO LIMIT HOLDEM unfortunately for me im not rolled enough to play heads up that high otherwise it sounds like i should of taken him up on that offer haha but as far as talking really fast and trying to play higher stakes he seemed pretty cool.

Haha, yeah, I forgot about that. You can play him for 6 hours and if you quit winner, it's a hit and run.

I believe an hour long hit and run was one of the reasons why Dean was a bot.

Well since this thread is about me I might need to clarify some things about myself..

- I was in Navy for 6 years, discharged honorably (Kinda surprising I know)

- I am an ultra right wing conservative.

- I do not drink alcohol. I do drink Pepsi and Gatorade.

- I am unreasonable about my view of what a "hit and run is" but I believe and I am probably the only one that believes this but if I am down money and my opponent decides to quit then I consider it a hit and run even after 12 hours of play. I am Crazy remember.

- I do not have a trust fund. I wish I did but I have no other sources of income then poker.

- I do destroy bots and bring attention to the issue as I believe poker bots will destroy online poker as we know it today unless major actions are taken to protect the integrity and human aspect of poker in an online form.

- I do like to go all in every hand for fun and mostly the psychological effects of my surroundings and reactions from people is what I get the most joy for pissing away my money. I do not do non poker degan things like craps, sports betting or slots simply I think because I think they are boring and I know I cant beat them so whats the point?

- It is also true I will play anyone in the world a LIVE HU freezeout for 10,15 or 20K. I have never denied action LIVE to anyone for those amounts ever. I will not play higher at this point because I like Bank roll management and do not have the roll for the ridiculous stipulations Hoss TBF and others have set to play LIVE which I understand. Why would you want to play me a 50 big bet freezeout for 20K when you play 1k-2k online. Then tells me "just get a backer" and I am like who the hell will back anyone agasint you? I am not super baller like him but maybe someday.

- I do have super horrible game selection. How else am I going to be the best in the world? Money is not everything.

- I have never played keanu reeves in poker in any way or form.

- Poker Girl Z, Greggo777, Mad Haddie, Bernie Fife or if you play Cake someone from "Toulca Lake" is in my opinion one of the most unethical women I have ever known in a virtual form. It is true she threatened to kill me several times. She now stalks me wherever I go but is not willing to play me at all and pretends to want 3 way or 4 way action but then when that happens she leaves. Kinda pathetic in my opinion.

- Sublime and Joe tall have both "pwnd" me and both have open invitations to have a rematch at anytime with me. They both decline. So I guess it is a true hit and run with no chance at getting my 5K and 18K back respectively.

- I don't think I look like a bum. I do wear socks with sandals but find it comfortable. I shower daily and after soccer practice sometimes twice. Why I have to even explain this is sad but I am clearing up misconseptions.

- I do not like Dean/PartyGirlUK for many reasons but do not wish to expand beyond that. I also have nothing against British people. =)

if some no name small stakes player demanded you put aside several hours to play him heads up 5/10 limit, what would YOU say? you still think you have an edge, but it just isnt worth your time.

As usual, NickStam nailed the key issue. I was with this guy all the way until he got to the socks and sandals part. You can overcome this. They have support groups and twelve step programs for people who wear socks with sandals. Look it up in the Las Vegas newspaper. The first step is doing just what you did, admitting it to the world.

OK, the all-in on every hand I find cool. Although I can't really understand the joy behind watching the reactions of the people. I mean if you enjoy to look stupid, you can just walk around with the sandals, no need to spew money.

I've played w/ Crazy Mike when he is pushing all in blind at a $1/2 table and some of the reactions he gets are pretty funny.

The other day, we were playing 8 handed at the Venetian late at night with no list, CM taking up two seats with multiple racks of chips ready on the other chair after he gets felted. He would open raise every hand and flat if it was already opened to him, then usually push the flop, get felted, and reach for a couple of stacks in the racks next to him. They broke a table next to us at 3am and sent a player to our game. Crazy Mike tells the floor that he will not play 9 handed and to send the player to a different game.

Floor says no, half the players are already on tilt from somehow playing badly enough to be stuck in this game and desperately collect funds to pay the new player to leave and keep the seat open. Players round up $100 thinking they will keep CM happy and in the game, new player takes the money and jets outta there. Floor comes and yells at us, CM laughs at us and leaves anyway to sit at a $4/8 LHE game $1k deep, and the rest of the table tilts and immediately breaks.

His exact words were "ridiculous stipulations".
