Actually played 4-8 mix game HU with him when he was drunk the other night, he raised at almost every possible opportunity, would even flip up his hand and he was still breaking even, then we just basically started doing $100 flips. he said that was first time he'd been drunk in a vv long time, and had a very attractive girl with him. I personally like him, although it seems he has toned down his shtick a ton.

This is one of my biggest problems with life on Earth.

On vacations i bring little footwear. Almost inevitably i will get blisters etc. from so much walking around with no socks and sandals. Yet i still won't want to wear warmer and less comfortable shoes.

Why is it soooooo bad? Why must i be TORMENTED by people when i wear socks with sandals?

It hurts me to not fight the good fight, but my spirit has been broken and i just oblige...

Met him through mutual friends at Aussie Millions. Seems highly entertaining. Was negotiating HU LHE games with some of the best HU LHE guys around. Ran into him again at Aria, where he bragged about banging Pezbaby and going skiing. Seems like a cool guy.

So bummed he's a hardcore right wing conservative, but then again without that I guess he wouldn't be "Crazy" Mike.

I want to play some pokers against crazy mike, sounds like it would be lots of action and fun. I like players like who tilt the other players because it just causes a scene. Live poker is fun I miss it.

My favorite Crazy Mike experience came in the 2009 WSOP. He never recognizes that he has played with me before, which amuses me. He's doing his usual schtick at the time of quizzing the other players, especially the older ones with an endless barrage of stupid questions about their favorite soft drink or other such inane things and pestering them relentlessly until they answer, especially if they don't want to. He mixes in interrupting them and ignoring whatever aspect of their answers he doesn't care about and has pretty much the whole table on tilt inside an hour. I don't think he shut up once all day. Near the dinner break, he finally caused one guy to blow up completely and the other dude yells at Crazy Mike to shut the hell up. To my astonishment, not only does Mike agree to shut up, but he concludes that his behavior was over the line. He demands that the dealer call the floor and insists that the floor give him a one round penalty for abuse. The floorman, all too aware of Mike's antics, agrees immediately and Mike walks away from the table for an orbit. This was the year they started the "database" of penalties and the floor made a big tell of reminding Mike it was going in the database and that subsequent penalties would cause him trouble.

Of course, when he returned, he was every bit as annoying as he had been when he left. I don't think I've ever seen a table as happy to be broken as that table was. As the tables in our row started to break, several people had to be reminded that action was on them as they gazed longingly at the nearby tables breaking up.

damn I miss the guy...I talked with him for awhile and didn't think he was crazy so I started calling him Slightly Off-Kilter Mike. He didn't seem to like it.

I love when he plays 1/2 and shoves every hand blind. The "rule" is you show first, and he gets to open one card at a time. One day at my table he cracked QQ and KK on consecutive hands and left up 1K after one orbit. Another time he spent about an hour handing out candy bars to the poker room.

I believe there was a story in B&M about a hand he played at the Bike one night where he hit a miracle "KingBall" on the river and was doing laps around the room shouting at the top of his lungs tilting his opponent to the point of nearly losing consciousness... It was damn near the funniest story I ever read on 2+2, but alas, can't find it now.

I love the stories - keep 'em coming! I would love to play with this guy and give him chips to keep me entertained. I'd pay just to rail him in Ivey's room after reading these stories.

I saw him one night last year at the Bellagio. I have to say seeing his antics- it does wear on you after a while. I was laughing at first, but eventually, he was tilting the hell out of me (the guy was tilting the whole poker room). I can't remember the song he kept singing at the top of his lungs all night long. "Africa" by Toto? Then when he made a joke (funny or not) he would repeat it several times in a row. He came off like a drunk, but I was assured - he was stone sober the whole time.

Remember the scene in dumb and dumber when Lloyd asks "do you want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?" Picture Lloyd doing that noise for hours, that was my Crazy Mike experience and he was not even at my table.
