Its actually quite impressive what he is doing. He has never played in tournaments since he knows playing cash games is a better investment. And now he decides that maybe he should try to play a few during a year. The guy goes on to win one bracelet and is in the running to take down the Bellagio Cup. Having his cash games results in mind, the guy is a pretty good player. I remember like 3-4 years ago, Daniel Negreanu mentioned in some interview that Benyamine was probably regarded among the other players as the best player in the big game. Maybe he was right.
i have read through this thread and cant add much more to it other than i think he's at the bellagio in a tourney with 6 left trying to win 1.67million with chris laak playin 10/20 behind him

i read on 2 plus 2 that degenyamine is playing for 1.67 million at the 10/20 table at the bellagio against phil laak (being railed by chris laak) who had been a sick run against crazy kids thus making his stack hudge

I guess this is a picture of David Benyamine NOT playing in a tournament more than 4 years ago??? Plus in 2003 he took down 1st place in the WPT Grand Prix de Paris
Saturday he was on UB playing in the Aruba 50-seat guarantee, In chat he said he was in a hotel room at the French Riviera with his kids running around.

Would you please not post something unless you actually know what you're talking about? I've played against David in I don't know, maybe five tournaments in the last five years -- and I'm only a very occasional participant.
