Barry Shulman, is he good? - Poker News

I have always been under the understanding that Barry wasn't a very good poker player. After his recent win and his current deep run at the PCA, is he a good player? Has anyone played with him?

And from what i've seen from him i thought he was good enough, no horrendous plays jump to mind like, but don't remember anything special about him.

From what I have heard, my guess is that he confuses players with his bet sizing and he's hard to exploit

Bad players can make the right play for all the wrong reasons

I call a raise in the BB with A Qcc from Barry Schulman flop is A 9 3..he bets I call.... turn 7..he checks, I bet small, he shoves, I call...he shows J 8 for nothing but a gutshot, so he has just the 10, 4 outs, and hits...

thats from PCA... he played horrible and literally tilts so hardcore

that was on the end of Day 2...wuda put me at 300k

Actually according to Pokernews he called his stack off with AQ on that board. Jason M. talked about playing against him in the WSOPE on the Pokercast a while back. I believe the phrase he used frequently was "Spazz Raise"

Yeah, I'd think it would be the Stars Blog and AJ makes more sense but I wouldn't put it past Shulman to do that w/ AQ.
