Can you please do a thread about FG in the BF&I forum - would be really interested to read about it sort of like an AMA about the FG business model and your experiences etc?.

they have said themself that they lost money on the isildur v durrrrr game "small fortune" was the term, obviously they just bought action, to further speculate he probably pieced himself to dangs, galfond and probably someone else. I imagine that his friends were a bit to loyal to say no to him as longtime HS-friends that came up through the game together with him as long as he vibed off a "i got this, i got him figured out now, he overbets alot and he bluffs ALL THE TIME!", he was selfproclaimed king of NLHE at that time remember and near mythical status on 2+2. This was before all the bet welching and he was a somewhat active poster at the time and every fricking time he posted people raced to type "1st after durrrrr!!".

Di & Hac seem like good people, they come off as smart as ****, and also generous in their own way coaching like 5-10 people at a time in their own home(mostly entirely for free from what i gather) in some sort of a workshop thingy that they set up themselves, friends and family and the like was getting a piece of the internetpokers thanks to them, probably some staking deals were made aswell on the friends that showed a bit more prowess other than managing to nit it up at smallstakes and make a small buck when that was possible. I mean, I doubt that they were hagglign with the microgrinders under their wings.

I can do that-there is already a thread about how much franchise owners make-I have posted in it quite often over the last year(in fact it's the reason I quit lurking and started an account, as the ignorance had me tilted)

Just because you still live in your mothers basement doesn't mean that some people in this forum don't actually have a life outside of 2+2-show some respect for more accomplished people.

A funny side note on Di Dang is that when he arrived on the live tourney scene, the live pros like Gus and Daniel had no idea who he was.

I ate here once, food was good. The sexual themed shirts were pretty peculiar. My first thought was why would they wanna alienate a % of their potential customer base for this and what could the possible benefit be?

I'm friends with one of the former homeboys of di and hac. They had 40-50% of durrr vs isildurrr and that was a significant blow to lose the 2-2.5 million or whatever it was. In no way was it charity though, as previous posters have said, durrr was the king then and dang bros thought it was plus EV to invest, simple as that.
