Is 9 handed live poker coming back anyt time soon ? I could see The need to social distance limiting table capacity to a Max of 6 players.

The difference between nine and six players seems like it would be pretty minor in a game with people sitting around the same table for hours, all sharing chips and cards.

Someone hosting a non-NLHE game at a convenient location and stakes is all it'd take. That didn't exist near me pre-coronaplague and won't do afterwards

simple, a vaccine.

digital tables. ideally ones that detach and allow you to play from anywhere in the casino.

I think it's more about the distance between each player. So while it may not be much they would still be distanced further and every foot counts. I'm regards to sharing chips cards etc.. that is something an individual can control. Just don't touch your face and don't eat while at the table. But you can't really control some guy 6 inches away from you sneezing on your face.

Yeah, me too.

I'll definitely use more hand sanitizer and keep a closer eye on other people coughing/sneezing/breathing/etc. Probably be a lot more willing to do a table change.

When it opens I'll go check out the games.

If they're good I will stay. If they're not I'll come back the next day and check again.

I'll probably be wearing some sort of face covering for a while. Oh well.

If I’m sitting at the same table for hours with somebody that’s carrying that virus, sharing the air/space/cards/chips and probably touching my face here and there, ultimately an extra foot might help but it isn’t going to stop any spread.

Yeah you're probably right . I'm not sure what the correct answer is or how to address it going forward

You mean like WSOP.com offers, you'd play it in a casino except not live ?

Sounds like an overly friendly game.

Most people at any given table will be breathing.

You know how it is with regulars. Play with the same people for a while and there’s going to be a few friendly cheek-caresses.

But I’m just glad you didn’t say anything about my extra foot. That makes me feel self-conscious.

no, like this, with detachable screens so you can play from anywhere in the casino.

There was a very cute gal that dealt at my local casino. I purposefully sat in one of the end seats so that I could talk to her during her down. We were getting along great. I was taking my time so that she could see that I played and won and wasn't a casino degenerate which I would think is an important filter for a dealer when deciding whether to date a player. But Covid locked down the casino before I could ask her out or at least get her telephone number.

Hopefully she returns to deal, I'm going back to get those digits!

Those PokerPro tables were great. Would be easy to wipe down those tables after a session and you no longer have to touch disgusting casino chips

There's a dealer at the Wynn I am madly in love with. She's never dealt me a losing hand in a big pot, meaningless obviously but I just find it amusing. She looks like a 20 year old Julianne Moore. Hope she's doing okay.

For me it depends on finances. In a perfect world I would wait for a vaccine as I have a slight heart condition. BUT, I have to provide for my family. I hope I am able to get unemployment as a poker player and that will give me time. I have tinkered with some app based poker, but online poker is so hard to trust for many reasons.

Probably at least 6 months. I like to gamble with money, not my life.
