As a completely recreational online poker player, I obviously did not move for Black Friday.

So over the last few weeks or so, I am (somewhat shamefully) getting my fix through HU play money cash games on PokerStars.

And since it has been a while since I played online, it really hit me like a ton of bricks just how broken the HU games are.

Even at the play money levels, you see a ton of stuff you see at the real HU games. It is really hard to get action.

So many players will play a few hands with you and they will then sit out or insta-quit and leave you because you are either too good, too bad, too loose, too tight… whatever.

Now, this thread is obviously not about play money. It is about fixing a huge problem with the HU real money cash games.

What, if anything, can these sites do now or post regulation to create more action HU?

There's a broader issue as regards NLH in general not limited to HU games, one word OMAHA

yah pokerplayer it can be annoying to play HU and I can see it being very annoying for the recreational player is has a little bit of a clue. You see like 40+ regs sitting at a table with an open seat. Ever try HU SNGs? that way if they quit after a few hands you get their money
