Gross and Jaime have been quite sporadic with their streaming so Stars didn't see any value in keeping them. Jaime has also been on the decline in viewership for quite some time.
Also when Staples decided to become more strict on trolling/"haters"/criticism in his twitch chat, his viewer numbers took quite a significant nosedive.
I have noticed the big twitch streamers have 2 things in common:
- they are quite lax on moderation
- they don't let hate and criticism get to them
When you start censoring things unnecessarily in twitch chat or trying to create this artificial atmosphere of rainbows and unicorns, you quickly put off most people from watching you.
To summarize, he shouldn't have taken himself so seriously on stream. His younger brother Matt was able to do this quite well, but for some reason, Jaime couldn't.
