Bet they didn't renew Jeff for that solver he was using, you can blatantly see him using it during tournaments and many people were banned from stars for using it. He got away with it because he put it on a separate computer, so stars couldn't prove it. It did pop up during one of his streams though and there was a public outcry to ban him for life then.

How bad have Jamie's poker results been? I've heard he is down over $100k in the last few years, though after winning the prop bet + Stars money + Twitch money I'm sure he's doing quite fine.

The most likely answer is that Jamie and Gross are more famous than they were before and thought they could leverage themselves better than what Stars offered. I tuned into a bit of Jamie's stream today and he did say that Stars offered him a contract to continue with them but he turned it down.

The thing is, when Staples was signed twitchpoker was the new big thing and he was the clear number 2 behind Sommerville for a while.

He often had 5k + viewers even with no big runs and nobody knew how big twitchpoker could become at the time.

I asume he got a very good deal from Stars (hoping numbers would get even better) but how things went lately they probably offered way less money for promoting those stupid chests to maybe 1000 viewers.

Fintan and Spraggy are entertaining streamers and put in huge volume on Twitch. I prefer to listen to them in the background than Lex, who I find a bit negative. I used to watch Jaime a lot, but he seemed to rest on his laurels when he had to potential to continue be one of the bigger streamers. If sponsored streamers aren't putting in the volume, they have little worth to Stars really.

Fat Jamie has already proven he has no integrity so he'e obviously not leaving because Stars are doing something bad for the players. Since all he cares about is when he gets to put the next donut in his fat mouth, he's either been terminated by Stars or offered more by another site. Simple as that.

Runitonce is launching with cash games only, why would jeff gross and jaime leave stars where they are getting paid + mtts galore etc to start grinding a format they are most likely not doing very well in on a new site that has no proven success

I don't remember the thread but a bunch of stars recs got banned for using software and that software popped up on his screen while he was in a tournament and streaming. Anyone remember that?

Most likely let go because Lex is a much more consistent and bigger streamer. You also have guys like Spraggy and Easywithaces who stream almost every day on the Pokerstars channel.

Gross and Jaime have been quite sporadic with their streaming so Stars didn't see any value in keeping them. Jaime has also been on the decline in viewership for quite some time.

- they are quite lax on moderation

To summarize, he shouldn't have taken himself so seriously on stream. His younger brother Matt was able to do this quite well, but for some reason, Jaime couldn't.
