Whatever happened to Anthony Reategui? Whatever happened to Anthony Reategui?

The guy was one of the most fearsome players I've ever encountered.

An absolute monster.

No results on thehendonmob since November last year..

Has he given up?

I have no idea but Andy Black when he gave up poker, he became a buddhist monk.

Maybe he became a vacuum cleaner salesman or telemarketer or could be that he's dead.

Anthony is still around and playing poker. He hasn't done much in live tournaments lately but he's had some decent scores online at Pokerstars.

I saw him at Bellagio playin 10-20.

And I saw him at Rio in the BJ pit.

I played against him in LA a couple years ago and he played evey hand for the first 2 levels. He either busts out in 5 minutes or wins the tournament.

He is a beast. I played with him in a Bellagio $500 or $1000 donkament and he'd managed to amass 10x the starting stack in 30 mins as ridiculous as that sounds. He would constantly call raises and then move people off hands when he missed or stack them when he hit. Just after he got moved to the table I let him check-raise me off an over-pair on the flop for all my chips and then spent the next two hours until I busted realising what a ******ed laydown it had been. He shouldn't be playing online because he is one frightening opponent.

Played PLO with him last week at the RIO. Great personality at the table. Right now he is 1 of 3 left in $1500 WSOP shootout. Live on Twitch
