I'm the total opposite of most of you guys. High tempo music makes me play bad and carelessly. Even though I play 15-20 tables, I listen to relaxing meditation music, or just nature sounds. I find that poker is played best with a low heartrate even if you are playing lots of tables.

Generally instrumental stuff as I seem to concentrate more that way. Jazz or classical is usually the choice.

i have to listen to some type of techno ish type music or nothing at all.
agreed, techno or tech house definitely the best, Carl Cox is great as you can choose a banging mix or a slower mix depending on how you want to play.

acid techno always wicked as well, Chris Liberator, Dave the Drummer etc, Ramos, and quality older trance like Jon the Dentist & Blu Peter.
