I am a retired army musician. I would choose The sound of Silence. No, not the song, I mean the lack of sound. No music.
I have ADD and am easily distracted. When I am studying, or sometimes when I'm playing, I grind in my office. With the door closed. Often wearing earplugs.
A song or a few words from a television can capture my attention, so I block all that noise. It's the same principle as an author hiding in a log cabin out in the middle of nowhere to write his novel.
That said, recently I was bored (another common ADD symptom) at a final table that seemed to last forever without anyone getting knocked out. This was on 1/31 and placing in the top three would give me my most profitable online month ever. I played The Final Countdown every time someone got knocked out. That was kind of fun but I think it was a one-time deal.
I finished 5th.
5th is not bad Congrats GL . . .
I seem to have the Opposite problem I just heard this song on repeat for 414 min while grinding Online and building a new site, so Drinks . . .

Thanks I seem to get into a mindset of loving to only hear 1 song over and over when playing, will hear next time Thanks . . .
For Me one of the Most influential Artists in My Life, I still remember all these great fragments in My life, First summer camp hanging out with Girls hearing The Cranberries everyday, Good Times . . .
Hearing The Cranberries as the sound track in the background a true loss . . .
Queens of the Stone Age. But really any Heavy Metal. I remember back in 2005, when I would play at Doyle's Room, listening to Pharcyde/Sublime's great version of "Summertime" and also other great quality rap and rock, while crushing microstakes on Adderall XR, after jogging for miles and feeling perfect. Many great memories.
