Off topic but I wonder if you could do it with ads to pay for administration/maintenance then have a shared player pool that is a combined 'house money' that any individual player could win.

I still think it'll be online poker.

Once Sheldon kicks the bucket, and we have legalized online poker and a poker site that is US only (walled off from the third world grinders) via some sort of verification (e.g ID) with daily name changes allowed, we'll have another boom. It's only a matter of time.

You hit the nail on the head with the stock market. Fractional share investing is likely to be a game changer...

http://www.fool.com/investing/how-to...tional-shares/

[quote]For example, if you are interested in a stock that has a share price of $100 but you have just $20, you can purchase one-fifth of a share of the stock as long as you use a broker that offers fractional shares. Brokers have different rules regarding the minimum portion of a share you need to purchase, but some allow you to buy as little as .001 of a share as long as your transaction costs total at least $0.01.

I think young people will find it more fun to watch and bet on their favorite streamer rather than play poker. But who knows.
I've thought about an external client for various eSports that actually facilitates the matches/gambling before, like in CSGO they have FACEIT and ESEA external clients to put players/teams into matches together. If a similar product added the feature for real money games where each player or team must deposit X amount of crypto for the match to start and upon finishing the payouts are automatically distributed based on performance I think it could gain a lot of traction.

Most of the site's poker is no big deal. It's a side product. Most of the money is made from casino/sports betting.

I don't know in gambling, but in poker, specifically, if US comes "back online" it will certainly be the next boom.

I think PLO6 is booming... if gambling is a progressive illness then it only makes sense PLO4–>PLO5–>PLO6

The floor at Foxwoods told me they would never play PLO5 bc it would require short handed tables. Maybe that was bs. I know they spread Plo5 at Maryland live and national harbor though pretty good games.

I think 6 handed tables of PLO6 would make for a great game. It’s actually player friendly as far as rake goes as the money will tend to move faster. Would be a touch sell for casinos im still shocked Maryland live has 5 card. Now would be the time to implement since a lot of places are 6 handed already.

Ehhh that thing has been over for a while now. It's regulated and you can't gamble your skins unless you go on a shady website. Most of the gambling websites disappeared... It sure was a crazy time period tho. At some point I had 2k worth of skins on Steam and obviously gombol it all.

In my spare time I worked out a pari mutuel sports betting model. I proposed it to my state senator pre covid, but crickets in return.

Pari mutuel wagering offers many advantages over independent books, most notably liquidity and transparency. My model provides APs opportunity to get price edges over the typical public bettor. It also offers superior prices in thin/slow markets. Parlays on most of the markets are available.

My model also is completely corruption free. It also works both with online and over the counter transactions, although online is the best way to increase handle

IMO sports betting in US will eventually migrate to pari mutuel.

Roshstein seems to be one of the biggest names in the Slots streaming community (often with 10k+ viewers). His account is often at $50k+. The biggest giveaway is that they're sitting spinning $100/spin and losing thousands in an hour and their demeanor doesn't change.

I've read that Roshstein uses demo money. Other alternatives is the casino hooked them up with accounts which look like real money but aren't really which sounds plausible. Another possibility that they've rigged the account to win which is probably a bit less likely.

Either way, those guys aren't clearing $10k+ every day on slots and are making most of their money from referrals and promoting shady sites.

the biggest german twitch streamer, knossi, is famous for streaming slots online. i tuned in once and he had like 200k live viewers. its insane, and people know it from every corner in the working class areas and autobahn stops...slot casinos everywhere. now online slots are going to be legal in germany, the biggest european economy and gambling market i guess.

How, crazy you ask ?

Well, a guy at Goldman Sachs once put together a multi-million financing for a skins trading platform company. That guy went on to launch biosphere 2, launch Breitbart news, before gaining further fame as a top Trump advisor, i. e. Steve Bannon.

Who's the crazy one in those endeavors ?
