Was loudly flatulent after I said 'all in' and stood up. I'm talkin' vuvuzela loud, and right when there was one of those weird lulls in sound that sometimes happens. I swear, people 10 tables in every direction were laughing.

Fortunately it was all bark and no bite.

Funny, (Hell, I was laughing, too), but still pretty damn embarrassing.

Had been eating lots of fast food from Monday to Sunday one week as a bet. My internal organs were basically trying to kill themselves at the end of it. Anyway, there was a local tournament game on in a pub in the town where I go to Uni. That particular night I had been "releasing" quiet but incredibly potent noxious gases.

During registration I felt a twinge so I walked towards a group of people and let it out. Less than a minute later the TD jumps up and says, "If I find out whoever did that they're not playing tonight!"

I walked past a couple of tables to get to the bar; one after the other they all smelt the trail of destruction with one guy chiming in: "That smells like something has crawled up your a** and died."

i thought i had a straight on national television but really only had a 4 card straight. oopsie daisy!

shortstacked in a 2/5 game at the Venetian and requested 1 dollar chips. I had fish written all over me.

One of my first times in a casino I bought in for $200 for a 1/2 NL game but accidentally sat at the 10/20 NL game.

I was so embarrassed that I played the game anyways with 10 big blinds and doubled up three times to about $1600.

Probably a brag in the end but for the first few minutes at that table it was incredibly embarrassing.

I mucked the winning hand in the WSOP main event (a flush), cost me over a million chips. And million peoples of saw it too, which doesnt help.

I once was all in on 548T7 board with 96. Misread the board and thought I had the nut straight. Other guy says "i've got the nuts", I say me too, he shows J9 and everyone laughs.

Fortunately, not much embarrassment for me at the tables. Worst for me was trying to check raise when I had a nut flush against an aggro fish and another player. I checked, guy bet, aggro fish raised all in with his one extra chip, I went to raise, and the dealer promptly quoted to me:

Huh? You definitely should have been able to raise there. You checked then he bet 100. It doesn't matter what happens inbetween, you can raise.

I might have had it wrong, but you also may be looking at the example, which is just a snip from Robert's rules. Nobody bet 100.

In either case, I opened up the issue myself by basically not noticing the aggro fish was close to chipless.

I misread an Omaha hand and called off my whole stack with a pair of threes ... And won the pot.

live: i called a 800€ bet on the river with the nut low. unfortunately we were playing omaha High, plus there was no low possible on the board even if we had been playin Hi-Lo.
