When a rec player makes a bad call in a large pot, and realizes it was a very bad call as his many chips are being taken away, and sheepishly mumbles some excuse that doesn't really make sense like "I had a lot of outs... I couldn't get away..." as everyone at the table nods solemnly and doesn't make a big scene of it.

And then the nerd who won the pot loudly spurts "What are you talking about? You only had 3 outs. You were so far behind. I can't believe you made that call. I never have a draw when I raise to 800 there."

.... in reaction to which the rec decides to not re-load and leaves.

People who request the dealer to wash the deck. It does zero to further randomize the cards and won't "change your luck." Your next hand is still as random as it was going to be before.

I can maybe SORT of see if someone does it once in a great while when they are running really bad, same comments as above but I get that maybe some people are a little superstitious about that kind of nonsense, but still I don't like to see it. But it's really cringeworthy when you get someone doing it multiple times per session. You are just slowing the dealer and the game down for no purpose.

People that wear sunglasses in live poker tournaments. Meh I feel people take tells way too seriously and it’s kinda pathetic to wear sunglasses inside.

Also, I hate when people refer to tournament chips in a dollar sense. I’ve heard tourny directors, dealers, players refer to tourny chip denominations in dollar manners and it really irks me. Tourny chips have no dollar value, or monetary value.

When you're sitting at a table of 9 strangers, it's kind of nice to have your eyes covered for numerous *social* reasons.

You're assuming the reason why all players wear sunglasses, which is a little cringe worthy to be honest.

I guess they have never had a dealer muck their cards.

Why? Too funny. Tells me something about the player.

Headphones and sunglasses the same... love it when a bet forces player to painfully while sneering remove the get up emerge from fog and act.
