Don't worry. There is a method to my "madness". Same with some of my posts in other forums. Surprised people don't realize this.

If anyone would benefit from this idea it would be the bots. Rec players won't. The rich will get richer. I'm for it!

what's the typical process by which new games/variations become a thing? does a guy who's tight with a cardroom manager just get a few friends to start it and hope to draw some action players, and if the whales like it, it takes? how did big O and chinese poker become a thing? i'd very much like it if poker periodically went through these waves, like how hold'em completely replaced stud a couple decades ago, to revitalize the game and wash away some of the "solvedness" stasis.

The poker sites would still rig the sub-5k games. Who would track this? The EU?

I think this would be def an idea worth while to try

Advantage of the button way down this way and would think this would encourage multiway pots

I feel like in lower stakes games, it would create a lot of limped, multi-way pots preflop. I think the button/cutoff could potentially limp a lot of hands, knowing they are likely only to get raised by really premium hands. When it gets around the early position (post flop) players, they would likely have to raise/3 bet bigger than normal, knowing they are playing the rest of the hand out of position. It seems like a lot of lower stakes players would only do this with premium holdings.
At mid to higher stakes I think this would be bad for the game, because it would turn into a preflop war.
