I have a good friend who plays in some of the highest stakes games in the world. He plays in everything from Bobby’s Room at Bellagio, to Ivey’s Room at Aria, to underground private games in Hollywood. He’s seen more nosebleed games up close than anyone I know, so I posed the question to him the other day of “Who is up the most cash ever in poker?”. He replied pretty quickly with “Why does it matter, you’ve never heard of him”.
I figured it was a needle at me not being a part of this high stakes community, but he went on to explain that the player who has made the most cash is someone who has been able to play a very affluent businessman heads up over an extended period of time, winning what he believes to be over $200,000,000.
The author is Shane Sigsbee and the friend in this could be Ben Lamb, they are close buds and the description fits.
it probably is Bilzerian. Feds couldnt find like $180,000,000 his dad "lost". next thing you know Dan is posting pics on instagram of these "private hu matches" and posting pics of $10,000,000 wire transfers. also his brother Adam disappeared to Malta for a while and also claims to be a poker pro.
Theres a reason Dan never plays high rollers or buys action of players
It's more than $200 million from the Russia and Kazakh games alone for sure. There are a lot of Russian players who were around for this, and that's why you see so many at the WSOP.
Most of the pros you know only got the scraps of the biggest games, which were invite only. There was some fluidity between the levels of games, and even in the public casinos, guys like Gypsy and Kotstritsyn were having $10 million monthly swings. When poker got banned, some of the best players were obviously on downswings. You still see them today, while those who made their money went on to other things since HS is not what it used to be.
In Macau the big games were also private. I never saw the elite games there, but I did see someone bet $70 million HKD on one hand of baccarat. I'm sure someone who plays poker is down $200 million at baccarat there. :-)
I'd be skeptical of it being true, looks like a good blog post to get attention for the stable.
Not that he did anything wrong in writing it, he doesn't make any outrageous claims, just passes on gossip/second hand info that many will be interested in hearing and speculating on. Then finds a way to relate it to his business.

Or all 3. Bimonthly and only on the most important part of the world's leading providers have been round at the time so that the can all get a piece.
Maybe you should be able to see the best possible price for the usual suspects.
Also they have been round the world and go to the job.
They have never told any one who they are because of the money on the internet is not the money on the other hand and the best possible price is right.
