Isapostola, firstly I'm an idiot, but dont you think wicks poker playing might lead him to playing "midstakes" games or whatever, enough to earn a decent amount of money with? It's not like poker is a dead end job, wickss obviously has a baseline of skills which he's obviously been working on just to get to the level he's at. Also assuming (perhaps optimisticly who is to say?) he currently makes 3k-4k a month, an amount often considered pathetic in twoplustwo land, isn't a bad living for someone without much education/motivation for a career (working for the man). I dont see how this is a waste of life, especially considering wickss probably enjoys grinding sngs more than he would working a job although you perhaps may not.

Yes I generally agree, but of course the aim should be higher than on low stakes games. It's then up to the person/results when it's the time to reconsider.

(if you are a high stakes player and go busto, what do you do then? grind low stakes until you are back up again i guess. and change the screenname to avoid mockery on NVG)

Hey all you NVG kids out there, don't be afraid to fail in your quest to become a micro-pro. If you fail you can always collect welfare and have suckers like isapistola pay for your expenses.

Oh sure he'll bitch and moan about having to support your a$$, but secretly on the inside he will be smiling, content in the knowledge that he is better than you at the game of life and perhaps even poker.
