what are the weirdest/funniest regulars you encounter when playing online poker?

my player: -meltdowns when other people
preflop raise.. types in all caps
STOP BLUFFING EVERY POT!!!
POKER IS NOT 2 CARD GAME!!

he insinuates people who raise are bullies and people who call raises are fools, “only fools call fools” and “let the bullies bluff each other” are a few of his lines.

-half the time he ends up tilting and openshoving A10o or better (min buyin).. half the time this ends up with someone stacking him with 22/33 and the table laughs.

-it is around this time he begins to type out his folded hole cards, mid action, in order to manipulate the gameplay between the players still playing the pot. (“I’m folding Ad, I folded A9 - got to stop those bullies from betting right)

when ppl call him out for anything, his spazzing out, him breaking house rules calling out his hole cards, he says:

“ ELECTRICIAN, $34/h, BEAT THAT?!
and. I GOT $600 bank, beat that?!”

.. anyways, pretty sure i got him chat banned or temporary banned yesterday because i contacted the live-chat after an hour of enduring his shenanagins lol.

Playing low stakes live MTTs is somewhat similar to visiting a zoo

I thought chat pretty much died a long time ago. I remember the early days of Party Poker and Stars, and then the launch of Full Tilt, the chat boxes were always wild fun, humorous, lotsa rage tilt for sure, it was like chatting at a real table. Somewhere along the way it seemed like the social chat of online poker died.

no one chats its boring. i randomly type in my songs lyrics for reactions nadda. im in a pool of like 20 regs and most of them have never said a word. and its a ring fenced market so its like live poker where you actually do need to try to entertain the fish since your playing the same fish. unlike row where I can understand not giving a ****

When we could play I used to big on the chat. I thought it gave me an edge niggling my opponents especially the Russian players. I used to like getting under their skin which I think is all fair game as part of just normal sledging. It was also a way for me to stay awake when it was like 5 or 6am after like a 10 hour tournament.

I miss FTP so bad. Even though I only played it for like a year until BF, it was super fun software, there's truly nothing like it now. I don't know how hard it is for other pokersites to just re-create something similar.. why do we live in 2023 and most sites barring GGpoker/PokerStars have terrible software. is it too much to ask?

gg poker software feels very similar . also certainly better this feels like nostalgia rather then logic. pokerstars litteraly bought fulltilts software and implemented some of it surely

Probably the funniest comment I recall was when I first started playing those 0.25 tournaments on Pokerstars over ten years ago. A player from New Zealand started criticising my game play in the chat box, calling me 'weak tight.' I was soon in a pot with him, and he was continuing with the 'weak tight' abuse. I flopped top set and bet. He called, and the turn card then paired up with the middle card on the flop. Let's say it was 10. I had a full house, and checked, knowing he had me as weak tight scared. He then jammed all in and I snap called, typing in the box, "hook, line and sinker."

The whole table erupted in laughter with the jajajaja / hahahaha, and the busted player ranted and raved in the box.

I never saw him again.
