The ban hammer has wrecked this place.

Instead of focusing on eliminating derails, which wreck a thread, this site focused on banning people.

I wish someone could post a somewhat accurate number of how many people have been banned around here.

My guess is in the 10's of thousands.

Why not just ban the people that are constantly derailing threads?

Why not start a 2+2 poker site that look and work like Pokerstars, GGnetwork? First do play money and after a while real money... That will safe this forum and maybe online poker. You got a head start with traffic and a name.

IMHO, these forums need more and more vigilent moderating, not less/looser.

people are downright rude to others on this site all the time. basically the most ascerbic website i know by a large margin.. acerbic = bitter, sarcastic posters.

i'm a bit torn.... i believe in free speech and everyone's opinion counts (in theory).....

but lin wood/sydney powell/DJT have really pushed the envelope on knowlingly lying over and over again to a very uneducated, vulnerable audience... some similarities to "yelling fire in a movie theatre".

Is this an emotional, ego driven purchase. If it is emotional are they deeply disturbed or rich kids just loving the lols or some vindication against mason and co.
