What's your monetization strategy? Or did I miss something?

Any user is going to want zero monetization (i.e. no banner ads), but it's not a great business model for sustainability.

Yes!

The ban hammer has wrecked this place.

Instead of focusing on eliminating derails, which wreck a thread, this site focused on banning people.

I wish someone could post a somewhat accurate number of how many people have been banned around here.

My guess is in the 10's of thousands.

Maybe they plan on becoming a publicly traded comapny?

There's dozens of publicly traded companies with Billion+ valuations who don't make a profit.

Example: Have 2+2 branch out into the marijuana industry, and this place will have a Billion dollar valuation. Who needs a profit in that pipe dream world.

I think that is obvious. The one thing they haven't mentioned is selling our email addresses. Mason was clear he would not do that. The new owners are not under that obligation. If I'm wrong, they can let us know.

There’s a ton of serious poker related discussion happening on 2+2. That never stopped.

The one thing that did stop is poker strategy discussion. That obviously won’t come back as long as people are able to monetize that information.
