megabanny is a joke.

Also @tultfill if rakeless it's pretty much a given that these 4 players can beat nl200 nl400 regs by 10bb/100.

looks like since the break, dougs been treating the bot like it wont learn and just piling the money in with his value hands in quite an unbalanced fashion

I wonder if that is the case? Is it going to learn? I can't imagine where all these cpu cycles are going if it doesn't have some tricks up it's sleeve...

Punter when you run a tree and find the EVs of say 3 betsizes; is it possible to extrapolate from that the optimal betsize?

For example in the QJ pic you posted the Ev of check > 100 > 250 and you can see by exactly how much. In this case it is pretty clear that check is optimal. In other spots EVs may increase towards a given betsize. Any way to tell exactly what that is

Considering doug beat sauce and dong beat TC in their challenges by > 24.9bb and >13bb respectively, you might just be on to something here.

nick frame has said he can beat 200nl regs by 12bb/100 over rake, I would tend to believe him although he has not shown reciepts

We're done for the day, we didn't do the last 1500 hands and will make them up in a some way. But this allows us to get a good nights rest and be better ready to hammer hands out tomorrow.

We're changing a few things to make everything go faster and more efficient in future days to make this a lot easier for everyone. Expect two 750 hands sessions a day from now on, without breaks (besides dinner).

Cheet, Good luck in the rest of the challenge. I think it's a neat thing to participate in and I hope you guys can continue to kick some robot ass.

I'm glad you're engaging with some posters in this forum, I had a few questions if you wouldn't mind answering -

1) Is there currently any fatigue from having to one-table an opponent on an interface I assume you're not accustomed to? How does this type of play-style compare to your typical grind as far as mental toughness goes?

2) Is there a reason you guys have to play on the casino floor and not just in two separate rooms? -- I would hazard a guess that Rivers Casino contributed some sponsorship money and wants you guys on the floor -- I could see that being difficult with all of the secondary noise (crowds, casino games, etc) and cigarette smoke. Have you found yourself playing better when you're at the other location in what appears to be a more secluded area?

Best of luck as you continue to battle Claudico.

I haven't watched much of it but I remember a JJ vs AK hand at one point. Don't remember who had what though.

Cheet, obviously you don't want to give out your stars sn, my question is (provided you're willing to answer) what is the reason you're playing? Are you someone whose studied a ton of gto or written programs? Good friends with the others and they have faith in your game? Play high stakes under an anonymous sn?

I'm not questioning your credentials, just interested since you're the only player I don't know anything about.

this seems awfully similar to questioning his credentials

Maybe I should have used 'doubting' instead of 'questioning'. Basically I'm not saying 'who is this fish does he even play high stakes?', I'm interested in anything he's willing to divulge about his involvement

1) There isn't fatigue from one-tabling but from the lack of sleep we've been able to get the first few days, but that is improving now.

2) The setup is designed to promote what's going on, which is good for all parties involved I think. I prefer playing in the isolated room but I don't think there's a difference in play wherever I'm at.

Thank you

I play high stakes hunl online as my main game. (But I have also recently begun traveling to play live MTTs!!!).

Dr. Sandholm and his team wanted to face their bot off vs the top human players in the world, and he called and selected me because his sources told him that's what I am.

As a human and someone who has passion for the game of HUNL, I want the "Brains" team to have the best chance possible to represent humanity and beat this A.I. I believe making me a part of the team gives us that best chance.
