Flop 382dd, WCG min leads, bot raises, WCG 3 bets, bot calls. Turn Td WCG leads 4200 on turn (pot), bot raises 6k, leaving ~4k behind. WCG jams and even claims the bot has folds in its range. Bot folds for 4k with 36k in there lol.

Bot obv misclicked, or misread the board.

Now you've got me hoping that the developers added a 0.001% chance that the bot misreads the board, makes the wrong play, and walks away cursing.

Seem like the humans are really exploiting it bluffing too much/folding getting a good price

So is this bot supposed to be improving? I was under that impression but it seems to be doing some things much worse.

I think it improves by adjusting, but then the humans just adjust better to those adjustments. It def plays differently after it updates/"learns." The humans and in particular doug seem to be finding new exploits to its style all the time, doug is really in tune with what the bot is doing right now.

If he folded there it seems pretty obvious that its strategy in that spot simply hasn't converged to equilibrium yet. In the hands it has played against itself (which is how it learned), it simply has not accumulated enough data to realize that calling is a dominant strategy to folding. Not really that surprising. Since Claudico is still far from GTO, there will be many of those spots. That one is just a bit more obvious to us humans.

I didn't see the action on the set hand, but a flush came in and bot shoved huge, so most likely he knows that a bot can play a flush draw passively on the turn (as in this hand he had a pair and a flush draw and just called the min lead on the turn).

On this hand he called with trip 7s because he thought the bot could have a flush draw based on it's play, on the set hand he folded because he thought the bot could have a flush draw based on it's play (but the flush hit in that hand)

Ofc right after he made that comment he turned his mic off to talk strat with flushie so can't be sure, but I am guessing it's something like that.

Also, doug just snap called pot on the river with bottom pair and was good, he definitely knows the ranges the bot has realllllly well at this point.
