Anyone else having trouble following the action? Seems like whenever a player puts in a bet, a different bet size appears for an instant. That and hands end in a split second. Does this just take time to get used to?

WCG had KK, bot limped, WCG raised, bot reraised, WCG chose to just call. Flop Q9x, WCG check raised, bot called. turn 9, they got it in, bot had A9.

At the other table, cheet raised the A9 and got reraised and called. Bot bet 2x pot on Q9x flop (4400 into 2200), cheet made a good fold

Shows the kind of variance that can exist even in duplicate poker.

I think the bot won like 3 buyins in the first 250x4 hands. The comeback is on!

I agree, gives you a better appreciation of variance!

Think its unfair humans don't have HUD and computer does, I guess they get updated hh after tonight which should be a big help. Twitch streams incredibly interesting.

You don't need a HUD when you are 1 tabling and have enough memory to remember your name

I think exact frequencies > memory

So you think it's unfair that the humans don't get a computer program? Why isn't it unfair the computer program doesn't get a human?

Computer saw all 6,000 hands yesterday and is using that info to adjust. Humans only saw the 1,500 they played. Humans should be able to see the same 6,000 hh the computer has seen and be able to analyze that data with whatever tools they deem appropriate. That is just my personal feeling but I would like to know if a Bot can beat top HU pros at their own game and their own game for most is using a HUD.

The computer only saw 1500 hands vs each player. It probably won't and shouldn't use one player's hands to adapt to another. I actually think the humans have the advantage regarding this because they can use all 6000 hands to collaborate between matches.

You may be right that it is their game to use Huds. But this contest is billed as brains vs ai, not human/computer cyborg vs ai.

Fair enough I can see both sides of this argument. Personally I would just like to see both sides being able to look at and analyze data with whatever tools necessary and see who can make the best strategic decisions. The HUD isn't giving advice just aggregating information in a way that aides decision making. Using the HUD is a skill, not a crutch in my opinion.

The second size you see is the running total they have put in for that pot.

also Jason Les dodged the ubercooler with raising huge w/ 89o on the 7TJ rainbow board when the bot had AK but folded to the turn Q, reversed doug spiked the Q and saw a river( K ) but got the bot to call a jam regardless.

If a turn were going to be seen in Jason Les shoes most of his stack wouldve gone in on the turn obv.

44min mark is the hand. The bot has lol timing tells- it insta check shoved river with the nuts since it doesn't need to run any solver for it.

Also it's a bit unfair to say that humans outplayed the bot here- since Dong min led + 3bet flop, x/c turn and the bot bet pot ip with 2x psb remaining otr so prob should never fold a Q high flush.
