Ben was a forward thinker in terms of coaching, and based on his 2 podcast with ChicagoJoey, he knows the value. 4 hours of free coaching in HUNL with Doug is worth more than anyone would pay. From that coaching Ben had material for 3-4 months of studying and running his AI up against it Doug's strategy. The fact that he would sit Doug 6 months later HU Cap is absurd.

Hope they work it out. Ben blaming a third party as a reason for not returning the coaching is criminal. If he had an agreement with A Martin, he should have disclosed it to Doug at the beginning. At the minimum, Ben ran a 40K freeroll on Doug.

What happened to trying to guess what jungleman meant with that post? Is there reason to think Jungle helped Doug a lot with his HU game before Doug rose to the top?

Can some of you lets say more sensitive people explain to me whats so offensive about Doug saying he is the best NLHU player when he actually is? If Messi would claim he was the best fotball player in the world you would instantely hate him as well? I'm just trying to understand because it just doesnt make much sense to me.

Jungles post is pretty obv imo

Doug is nothing more than a product of his software and jungle knows this. Doug polks rise to the top of the tree convieniently fits in with the rise of poker ai companies.
Even everyone in his stupid little empire isn't good at anything outside of HUNL.

Fwiw I know first hand that someone in this thread pays an ai developer an awful lot of money to keep his ai behind closed doors and exclusive
