fwiw i actually played on bovada from NY for about 2 years when they didn't allow NY players. I had played there for a decade and never knew this was a rule. I in no way masked my IP address or anything like that and then one day they were like are you playing from NY? I said yes obviously and they said you can't do that anymore sorry so I cashed out and stopped playing there.

I agree that Matt shouldn't be harassed, but you are strawmanning and completely misrepresenting the situation. You're acting as if all Matt did was "skirt a rule" and play in a state he wasn't supposed to, which is obviously not even close to a full picture of the scummy behavior that Matt is guilty of here.
