It would be so amazing, if he would be the first to beat Galfond in his challenge. At 100/200, he and his backer(s) might actually get this going, if Galfond offers a side-bet with juicy odds. Would be the best promotion for RIO that Phil's challenge could possibly get, imo.

Took 2nd in 10k NLHE for 105k (lost HU to Foxen) yesterday and currently 3/3 on day-break in a 25k PLO behind Probirs and Gavz - 140k locked up with 430k to 1st

Went to same HS, same age. Only class we both had was an elective PE thing he didnt show up for (think this was 2009 so his ipoker run). Teacher asked if Blom was ever gonna show up and someone said "nah he just plays poker". Teacher: "well good luck with that in life"

Spoke to him a few times at a bar. Was a super normal 19yo dude.
He wouldnt know me at all.
