We hear less and less about him, hopefully he is fine financially.

He talent is more suitable for live poker where you cannot rely on software to get an edge while playing. The sad reality is that at this point you can no longer rely on pure brainpower at the highest stakes and this is why we are seeing less and less of isildur, it's harder and harder for him to get action where he has an edge.

I assume it is to do with Responsible gaming laws so that you don't end up losing more than you realize. Governments clamping down on gambling pretty hard in Europe at moment (or at least pretending to)

Who knows with this guy? He has always been a mystery. He could be playing live cash, private games ect. He will probably be back at some point.

Is he still sponsored by party? I remembe he got that 150m ruling against him by his gov for alleged tax evasion (ridiculous figure they came up with, probs throwing darts at a number board). All that to say he might not be doing very well, posted up in England

His english seems a lot better then in this video. He said they played up to 20 hrs straight. That is pretty crazy but then says that he got out played in the end by dwan? What is he talking about? That doesn't make any sense. I always wanted to ask him if he learned how to play poker from din_fru who he said was the best back in the day. Hopefully he does interview in the future to open up more about himself. I googled him today just to see if there is any update on him. I haven't heard much about him lately. Just to dispel a lot of the misinformation floating around in this thread I recently heard Isildur finally was fed up with variance and took an entry level management job at Gekås which, in essence, is the Swedish equivalence of an American Walmart. He can be found in the School/Art Supplies department Tuesday through Saturdays and occasional Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CET. I have an uncle about a half hour drive south of Houston who moved there recently from Poughkeepsie, NY. He heard that too.
